Just Another Day at the Park?
It was way too nice to stay inside that day. I called Nick and Ashley, my two best friends, and we decided to head over to the park. I packed up my Frisbee, a blanket and some snacks and walked to an empty, grassy spot to wait on them. I waited and waited but they didn’t show. I was just getting ready to leave, when they came running up, looking shocked and out of breath. “You HAVE to come with us,” Ashley said. “You’re the smart one, and we need your help.”…...
"wow" Well, I couldn't say no to a compliment like that. "Sure," I told them. "What's up?"
Nick and Ashley didn't answer. Instead, Ashley took my wrist, and began tugging me away, towards the treeline.
"Ashley, what the--what's going on?"
Nick looked around anxiously. "We need to get out of the open. They're coming."
Ashley froze, her fearful gaze on the sky. "No. They're here."
Somehow, her saying that was a lot more scary than the Exorcist. I looked around me, I couldn't quite fathum what Ashley meant by 'they're here'. There was no one else in the park besides me, Ashley, and Nick. Suddenly two rather strange-looking men appeared before me. "Well, well, well. Won't you look at this James. Theres another one." said the more buff one. "Perfect. Now we'll have three to take back to the tribe." said the one i suppose name is James. "What do you want from us?" I said. "We want the phanelle diamond back!" said James. "What's here?" I asked, terror starting to leak into my voice.
"Them." Ashley whispers and points towards the sky. I look up and see millions of them. I couldn't believe it, but we were surrounded by UFOs. "CUT!" The director yelled, "Thats a rap! Remember we need to leave the viewers hanging for next weeks episode!" Ok, I am an actor, my real name is Jannabelle Smith. I am a newbie actor but my friends Nick and Ashley are a little more experianced. I take that back, It is Wayne and Kayla. That is there real names. Sorry, I was still talking as my show character. I was finially done filming for today and when I walked in my dressing room/trailer, I saw it... "Aw, crud!" James exclaimed, scowling at the UFO's. "And just when we lost them! Guess the chase is on again guys." He said, and the buff one cursed loudly. I looked at Ashley, who looked at Nick for an explanation. Nick just shrugged. Then I felt myself being pulled away by James, back from the direction he and the buff guy cam from. "Hey," I shouted at him, as he continued to quickly drag me. "Are they friends of yours?" I jerked my head towards the sky. James scowled again, and replied, "Not really. They're actually....well..." he trailed off and took a deep breath before speaking again. As I stared at the strange floating quicksilver globs hanging in the sky, Nick and Ashley took hold of my wrists and started dragging me into the woods surrounding the park.
"Hurry!" Nick whisper screamed at us "We have to get as far away from them as we can."
I glanced over my shoulder at the two strange men, who seemed to resemble the agents from The Matrix. Instead of running after us, they were walking at a leisurely pace as if this was a Sunday stroll instead of a mad dash for our lives.
"Who are those guys? What is going on?" I queried as we traveled deeper into the forest.
Ignoring my question, Ashley turned her brown head to Nick and breathlessly said "I know a place where we can hide. Belle deserves some answers." I called back to them, almost yelling,"Hey! What are you two talking about?!" Ashley ambled over to me. "You know what I'm talking about!" I didn't want to start a diastater in the park! So I answered very slowly and calmly. "Ashley, darling," I, Annabelle Woods, have a British accent so, yes, I say 'darling'. ", I don't want to be rude but are you talking to the loo?" I couldn't come up with anything other than that, so... I guess it just came out! "Annabelle!" Ashley said in a tone that... half scared me to death. " i really don't understand ashley what is going on? who are these people?" i asked her qiuetly. Ashley didnt Awnser she just looked up. Nick was banging on the window of the UFO up in the sky."Oh My God Nick! i ran through the park jumping over bushes and plants. All of a sudden another UFO landed behind me. I waved my hand." can we cut ?" i asked our tv director. " what! that was a great scene. what do u mean cut!?" " im sorry its just that these light are really bright." "thats the point. now lets get back to te scene." i nooded then turned back to the cameras. Ashley or kyla looked up into the sky like she was supposed to be for the next scene but there was something lingering in the sky... Ode to Sugar
O’ Sugar, why did you come into my life,
You made me get rolls of fat with all of those calories,
You give me bodily emissions that are recalcitrant.

You tease me with your delectable mouth-watering taste.

I have chosen the path that will make me a better man,
Hey sugar, good-bye for good…Sugar. "Cut!" The director called, glaring at Nick (Wayne). "For the last time, Wayne, I said you can't do an ode to sugar!" Wayne continued his sugary-song, ignoring the wishes of everyone else on set. Kayla rolled her eyes, and I tried to help. "Is there any way we can work this in? Ending credits or anything?" The director pulled off his hat and sunglasses revealing a face as old as time. He squinted his eyes and pressed his thumb and forefinger into them, letting out a heavy sigh. "Why did I hire him... ?" He let the whisper escape from his lips. Needless to stay, when this... this voice or whatever it was started singing, I ran for it. I heard Ashley and Nick calling out for me to wait, to stop, it wasn't safe. But from what? Aliens? Really?
Yes, really, aliens, I told myself. But it wasn't this particular realization that made me stumble to a halt.
Oh no, it was the saucer--the FLYING SAUCER--that settled down right in front of me.
There was a bright flash of light, as a circular opening cut out of the side of the saucer. I didn't see any aliens (yet). Hesitantly, I took a step forward, and then another, and another, ignoring the screams of Ashley and Nick behind me.
Just as I was about to enter the shadow of the flying saucer, the two of them caught up with me and said.... "Those aren't from the set their real!" "You are to come with us,' They then grabbed me, "We have lots of stuff to do to you."
They looked at their Watches, and revealed that they were aliens themselves! Then, they took me back to their home planet, Venus, and I was sooo hot! Plus, I could barely breathe! It wasn't a very good day at all!
After we landed, I found out I could breathe! They explained that they had no intention of harming me (not immedeately anyway,) and explained that we were in an Oxygen field, so that I could breath, but it was still hot!
Then, a much bigger alien walked up to me, and said, "Well, you have been caught, little human!" I snapped, I dove yelling "What do you think your doing Jannabelle! Were not done for today!" Still staring at the flying saucer, I was dragged back away back to the set. After we were done our scenes, I looked back to where the small metal saucer used to be but it was gone! I asked around if anybody saw something metallic lying around. Finally Billy our props manager replied, "It's in the props trailer." I quickly replied with a thanks and ran to the trailer. My heart was beating a mile a minute and as I creaked open the door, Hi do you have a sandwich? ( that was too long, didn't read ) "What do you think you're doing?!" Ashley exclaimed, grabbing my shoulder and twisting me around to face her.
I calmly removed her hand and said, "I have to do this, Ashley. I'm sorry."
"Why?" Nick questioned.
I opened my mouth to reply, but the words couldn't come out. Why did I feel the need to do this? Why indeed? but then i saw a big square of cheese and its flavor was we got to leave now come on! "Hey I know you. Will you marry me?" And I said, dont get near the shadow the aliens will take you away and put you in space with them and you will never return. so after they went back into the woods the aliens had already noticed me and we were in trouble ashley and nick started running way fast and i almost got left behind. they turned around and picked me up and we ran and as soon as we reached the end of the forest we sat down hoping that the fly saucer had gone away but it had'nt so we stayed there and by the next morning it was not night and the aliens had gone away. They were relieved and felt that everything was ok and it was at that moment. "Heyy! you are in big trouble with yo mama fool!" "What are you doing? You stupid Meatball?" Nick said, Ashely looked at Nick with raised eyebrows and said: "A meatball huh? how convenient" I continued to ignore them and stepped towards the ship's circular opening. But before I could reach out for the handle, The door opened automatically. A fluff of smoke came out, I looked at Nick and we nodded at each other,Ashely took a big breath and was about to scream again. When me and nick covered her mouth. "MY MOTHER IS BALD!!!! HELP ME! SHE'S GONE PSYCHOTIC! "Oh my god" . . . there standing in front of us were the HOTTEST people I have ever seen the first one I saw was tall, muscular, and he had smokey,blue and soulful eyes. His hair was sliver like a stainless stell blade brand new he was wearing OMG! I just saw a flying scasor in the park i think it was a U.F.O a green person walked out of it and it turnes out her name was Elizabeth and she had her sisters with her they're names were sparkle and Samantha. Elizabeth said greetings Earthlings i have come to destroy you then her sister said...... nothing, and when I looked at them, I saw that they were gaping at the saucer's entrance. I followed their gaze and stared inside the opening that wasn't there moments before.
Standing in the entrance was a horrific creature that stood ten feet tall, with black, leathery skin that throbbed. It had no eyes that I could see, but it did have a large hole where the face should have been, and a foaming yellow slime was coming from it. I screamed and tried to turn around, but James and the buff guy were blocking my path, and they were holding Nick and Ashley by the arms. "wait stop"........but it was too late we all got dragged into the light that could be our last sigh.even when i closed my eyes the bright light was still there."CUT!!!!"screeched the derector like some old owl."Nick this is not the time to pick your nose people will be seeing this you idiot!!!!!"then he started mumblimg somethng in german.I finally said"...... "wow what is that, a flying saucer!?" Okay so there was this guy named Jim and he looked very weird so I decided not to talk to him. Unfortunately he was very nice after i ignored him for a few hours. He said"I was just strolling threw town when I saw you and I ignored you for a few hours. "Hurry up! We need to get away faster then we will explain it all when we get to saftey! Just keep on following us and you will be safe. I promise." "What are you doing?! You could get your brain eaten by those aliens!" Ithought about it for a minute. Would they really eat my brain? I took a step forward and saw... "what, you can't see them?! their right in front of you!" Sudenly I felt some thing grab me by the arms and pull me up. When I looked up,I saw the saucer grabed me and was pulling me up. that was when I blacked out..... "dont stop make it pop dj blow my speaker up" and laughed becuze it was itt was just an old flying sauser from last as a monument. they were all relifed and then ..................... I made a path int he woods. Its a cool path. my dad likes the path. i drove the gator 6+4 on it. its a cool path. nice going you liitle brat but you cant escape from us we are the most mighty ones don't walk in the shadow of it becuase if you do you will turn in to an alien and... "I am going to eat your brain" as they turnd into an alian but then... chuk noris came and killed them hi wait up no they will eat you. Do not go any farther, come back and hide with us. we need to go now befor they see us. just then 2thing were in frount of us they wore green and short. they had 4 eyes a mouth and some weared things comming out of there heads. then they saw us and grabed us. next thing we new we were ..... whats going on why is this saucer comming here? i was really nerves my hands started to shake really badly. Ashley was claming me down she was not as bad as i was. Nick was almost crying don't that's a really bad idea! but, id didn't care i just kept running. "You can't go up to the saucer! Are you mad?!?" I scanned their faces. They were serious they didn't have a clue. I guess I would have to explain everything to them again. "Don't you see?" Nick shook his head, and Ashley looked at me as if I had spourted three heads. "See what?" they asked me in unison. "This 'spaceship' is just some trick. Do you believe in aliens?" I said. "But you do't understand!" Ashley wailed. "The aliens! They threw flying bananas at us that chased us through the park." "Did you actually see the aliens?" I asked. "No," Nick said. "Then let me open the door and see what is inside." Ashley and Nick shuddered and squirmed as I reached for the door. I opened the door and screamed. Inside the saucer was.... and said that we mean no haem to you we are great people, but i still managed to get away and cuaght up with my mom. so i was walking i looked back and saw them smiling at me, so i turned around ro start a conversation with my mom,but when i turned around i saw that it was an alien and that wasn't my real mom. my mom was stick inside the flying saucer,and wheni tried to run up to save my mom the flying saucer left and i was left alone. so what i had to do was to save my mom, and the that is when my journey began. "nice choice. We knew that you would join us." Hesitantly, i looked back. Two more men had joined my friends and were now wrestling them to the ground. I knew I should turn around right now and run right back to them. But something was messing with my head. I couldn't think straight. I looked back to the two men who were with me, one of the men, with long curly hair and old clothes was smiling at me. He had bright teeth and I knew I should be frightened by this smile.....but i wasn't. This was the kind of smile that you see on the faces of killers before they attack. a breathtakingly fightening smile. i will eat you if you dont run so I ran and... oh my gosh, I just saw an alien. Don't do it, you're going to forget everything. You won't know who you are, where you live, or who we are. If you do go into the shadow, you will possibly die, or become one of them.
James thought about it and then slowly backed away. woah be careful of that wire dont trip "we need you to leave this place now!!"
